The 2000 Caterpillar XQ2000 is a mobile diesel generator designed for robust power needs. Housed in a 40-foot sound attenuated container, it delivers 1825 kW of prime power. This generator is trailer-mounted on a triple axle setup, featuring a 1250-gallon onboard fuel tank, enhancing its mobility and endurance for both prime and standby applications.
This unit is equipped with an upgraded EMCP 4.4 control panel, allowing for paralleling with other generator sets. the additional Basler Relay allows this unit to parallel with utility for grid applications as well, with auto breaker functionality, along with block heater and battery charger components. The generator end has been meticulously maintained, including a clean, dip, and bake process, new bearings, and paint. Additionally, it includes a muffler, circuit breaker, and a radiator that has been inspected and pressure tested, re-cored and the fan motor has received new bearings for longevity.
Recent upgrades include fresh interior and exterior paint, new decals, entry doors, and stainless steel buss bar access door. New hoses, belts, harnesses, batteries, and fresh fluids and filters ensure reliable and efficient operation. With a duty cycle rated for prime application and EPA Tier 1 emissions rating, this generator has recorded 7,365 operating hours, providing dependable power at 1800 RPM and a voltage output of 277/480V with an amperage of 3007 A.
